macOS Resource Fork Metadata (Ailerons Font)

This is a macOS AppleDouble metadata stub (._Ailerons.txt) generated inside the __MACOSX folder when the Ailerons font was zipped on a Mac. It is not a usable font or design asset.

The file named ._Ailerons.txt is not a font, overlay, or design asset. It is an AppleDouble metadata companion file that macOS creates automatically when a folder is compressed on a Mac. The leading ._ prefix and its location inside a __MACOSX directory are the classic signatures of this behaviour. Its purpose is to preserve Mac-specific attributes such as resource forks, Finder tags, and custom icons for the real Ailerons font file that sits alongside it in the parent folder. On Windows or in most editing and design applications, this file is invisible, unreadable, and completely useless. If you downloaded the Special Thumbnail Fonts Pack - ZEUS, you can safely ignore or delete the entire __MACOSX folder. The actual Ailerons font you want to install lives outside that folder, typically as Ailerons.otf or Ailerons.ttf.

How to use this resource

Ignore or delete the __MACOSX folder entirely; it contains only macOS metadata, not usable assets. Locate the real Ailerons font file in the main pack folder and install it via your OS font manager. If you are on Windows, you can safely remove all ._ files without affecting the fonts.
