KOLOSS Bold Display Font
A heavy, high-impact display font made for YouTube thumbnails, gaming titles and bold poster headlines. Installs as a standard TTF on Windows and macOS.
KOLOSS is a bold display typeface designed for maximum legibility at small sizes, which is exactly what thumbnail text needs. Its thick strokes and tight spacing hold up when the image is scaled down in a YouTube sidebar or a mobile feed, so your title stays readable even at 120px wide.
Because it is a single-weight display font, it works best for short words and numbers: video titles, episode numbers, price tags, versus graphics and gaming overlays. Pair it with a clean sans serif for supporting text so the layout does not turn into a wall of heavy letters.
The download is a standard TTF file, so it installs through your operating system font manager and appears immediately in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma and Canva. No extra plugin or licence server is required.
How to use this resource
Install the TTF by double-clicking it and choosing Install (Windows) or using Font Book (macOS), then restart your editing app so the font appears in the list. In your thumbnail or title design, set KOLOSS in uppercase at a large size and keep the wording to two or three words. Add a subtle stroke or drop shadow if the text sits over a busy background.Compatible with
