Intersec Display Font

Intersec is a bold display typeface supplied as a single TTF file, pulled from a thumbnail font pack aimed at video editors and designers. It is built for maximum legibility at a glance, which is exactly what thumbnail text needs when it is competing in a crowded feed. The heavy weight and tight, geometric letterforms make it a strong fit for YouTube thumbnails, gaming and reaction channels, stream overlays, lower thirds and short-form captions. Because it is a standard TTF, it works anywhere your system fonts work, from Photoshop and Illustrator to Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Canva. Pair it with a thick stroke, drop shadow or a bright accent colour to push contrast further. Keep headlines to two or three words and use it sparingly so the emphasis stays on the subject of your thumbnail rather than the type itself.

How to use this resource

Install the TTF by double-clicking it and choosing Install (Windows) or opening it in Font Book and clicking Install (macOS). Restart your editing or design app, then select Intersec from the font list and apply it to your title or thumbnail text layer.
