HOURD Thumbnail Display Font

HOURD is a bold display typeface supplied as a single TTF file, bundled inside a thumbnail font pack. It is designed for the kind of oversized, high-contrast lettering that survives being shrunk down to a 320x180 thumbnail, so headlines stay readable on mobile feeds and sidebars alike. Because it is a standard TrueType file, it installs natively on Windows and macOS and appears immediately in the font menus of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma and Canva. That makes it easy to keep typography consistent across a thumbnail template, a channel banner and an end-card graphic. Use it for gaming, reaction, challenge and commentary thumbnails, plus poster titles, stream overlays and social graphics. Pair it with a thick outline, a drop shadow or a subtle gradient to lift it off busy background imagery.

How to use this resource

Download the TTF, then double-click it and choose Install (Windows) or use Font Book (macOS) to add it system-wide. Restart your editor if the font does not appear, then select HOURD from the font list in Photoshop, After Effects or Canva. For thumbnails, set it large, add a stroke or drop shadow, and keep headlines to three or four words.
