GenBasI Thumbnail Font

GenBasI is a bold display typeface delivered as a single TTF file, sized at roughly 0.3 MB, so it installs in seconds and adds almost nothing to your project weight. It ships inside a thumbnail font pack, which tells you exactly what it was drawn for: short, punchy headline text that has to read clearly on a phone screen. The heavy letterforms and tight, even spacing make it a strong pick for YouTube thumbnails, Reels and Shorts covers, stream overlays and social ad creatives. How to use this resource

Install the TTF by double-clicking it and choosing Install (Windows) or adding it in Font Book (macOS), then restart your editor if the font does not appear. In Photoshop, Canva or Premiere Pro, select the GenBasI family from the font list and type your thumbnail headline. Add a stroke or drop shadow to keep the text legible over busy imagery.
