Estre Display Font

Estre is a display-style TTF font designed for the kind of text that has to survive being shrunk down to a 320px thumbnail. Its heavy weight and tight, confident letterforms keep headlines legible even when they sit behind a face, an arrow or a big colour block. Because it ships as a standard .ttf file, it installs like any normal system font and works across Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Canva and CapCut. That makes it easy to keep the same typographic look across your thumbnail, your video title cards and your channel banner. It is best used for short, loud text — three to five words maximum. Pair it with a clean sans serif for subtitles or secondary lines so the display weight stays impactful instead of noisy.

How to use this resource

Install the .ttf by double-clicking it and choosing Install, or drop it into your system Fonts folder. Restart your editing app, then select Estre from the font list and type your headline. Keep text to a few words and add a stroke or drop shadow so it stays readable over busy thumbnail backgrounds.
