Engr Thumbnail Font
Engr is a bold display TTF font made for high-impact YouTube thumbnails, gaming titles and social media headlines. Its heavy letterforms stay readable even at small thumbnail sizes.
Engr is a heavy display typeface supplied as a single TTF file, pulled from a thumbnail font pack aimed at content creators. The letterforms are thick and tightly spaced, which is exactly what you want when text has to punch through a busy thumbnail at 320x180 pixels.
Because it is a standard TrueType file, it installs like any other system font and then appears instantly inside Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Canva and CapCut. That makes it easy to keep a consistent title style across your thumbnails, video intros and channel branding.
Use it for short, punchy words rather than long sentences - two to four words per thumbnail works best. Pair it with a strong outline, drop shadow or stroke so the text separates cleanly from the background image, and keep the fill colour high-contrast against whatever sits behind it.
How to use this resource
Install the TTF by double-clicking it and choosing Install, or drop it into your system Fonts folder. Restart your editor if the font does not appear, then select Engr from the font list in Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects or Canva. Apply a stroke or drop shadow to keep thumbnail text readable over busy backgrounds.Compatible with
